Angela Rayner rejects rent controls for England

Housing Secretary Angela Rayner stated on Friday that rent controls are not a viable solution for England's housing market. She believes the Renters' Rights Act, implemented in May, is already making a significant impact. Rayner also noted that past rent controls in other UK areas have not necessarily lowered rents.
