Andy Burnham tells English schools to tailor teaching to local business needs

Andy Burnham will tell schools in England to tailor curriculums to local business needs from September 2028. The plan aims to make technical skills as valued as academic qualifications, tackling a youth jobs crisis. It will also see prioritised funding for technical and vocational qualifications and guidance for Ofsted.
