The blaze began near Pennygillam at approximately 11:40am on Thursday, and crews spent the majority of the day extinguishing it. No injuries have been reported, according to Devon and Cornwall Police. National Highways, which runs England's major roads, said the lorry recovery is "complex" and will last overnight, with a diversion in place for westbound traffic.
