AMD to invest $5 billion in Anthropic for AI chip deployment

AMD will invest up to $5 billion in Anthropic, a leading AI company, to help expand its computing infrastructure. Anthropic intends to incorporate as many as 2 gigawatts of AMD's Instinct MI450 Series GPUs into its Helios rack-scale solutions. The initial gigawatt will commence in the first half of 2027.
