Alton Towers has permanently closed The World of David Walliams, the themed area built around the Little Britain star's children's books. Opened in 2021, it featured Gangsta Granny: The Ride and Raj's Bouncy Bottom Burp. Owner Merlin Entertainments said the decision followed its regular review of attractions at the end of the peak season and promised to reveal plans for the space in due course.
