Alexa Plus gets AI update to control more smart home devices

Amazon is updating its Alexa Plus assistant to connect with a wider range of smart home devices, allowing it to understand more complex instructions. The update, currently in preview, lets Alexa Plus automatically route requests to the correct device, like setting a washing machine to a specific cycle.
