AI firm Mistral's value hits £20 billion with new Samsung-led funding
French AI startup Mistral has raised about £3 billion in new funding, with South Korean tech giant Samsung leading the investment. Mistral is now valued at over 21 billion euros, an increase from 11.7 billion euros recorded a year ago. Mistral plans to use the money for more infrastructure, including building its own data centres, and to train bigger, faster models.
