What was 9/11?
The 9/11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by al-Qaeda against the United States on September 11, 2001. Hijackers crashed two planes into the World Trade Center in New York and one into the Pentagon in Virginia. A fourth plane, intended for Washington D.C., crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers fought back. This story marks 25 years since these devastating events.
