US presidents past and present assembled on Friday to commemorate the deaths of almost 3,000 people in the hijacked plane attacks. President Donald Trump led a ceremony at the Pentagon, while Vice-President JD Vance attended the World Trade Center memorial in New York. A seventh bell was rung this year for thousands who died from illnesses linked to the dust and smoke.
