What is 'us vs them'?

‘Us vs them’ is a way of thinking that divides people into two groups: ‘us’ (the good, ordinary people) and ‘them’ (the bad, often elite, outsiders). In the story, far-right narratives often use this to rally support, portraying certain groups as ‘them’ who threaten ‘us’ in Britain, even when the content is created abroad.
