Facebook ignores AI-generated far-right UK videos with millions of views

An investigation by The Independent revealed that politically charged, AI-generated videos disseminating far-right narratives concerning Britain have accumulated millions of views on Facebook. The page "Life in Britain," which has over 100,000 followers, is administered by individuals located in Sri Lanka, even though it targets audiences within the United Kingdom. Facebook, owned by Meta, has not added warnings to the videos, even after being flagged over a month ago.
