Explained in plain English
How much do I repay?
Your student loan repayments are linked to your income, not the total amount you borrowed. You only start repaying once you earn over a certain threshold, which is currently £27,295 a year for Plan 2 loans. The amount you pay back is 9% of anything you earn above that threshold, deducted directly from your salary.
