The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the UK's independent regulator for adverts across all media. When they ban an ad, like Voy's bus advert, they expect companies to comply. If a company refuses, the ASA can refer them to Ofcom or Trading Standards, who have powers to issue fines or even prosecute.
