How do trade wars end?

Trade wars usually end through negotiation and agreement between the involved countries. They might agree to remove or reduce tariffs, or to resolve the underlying issues that caused the dispute. Sometimes, one country might back down due to economic pressure. The goal is often to restore more open and mutually beneficial trade.
