Zimbabwe ferry disaster death toll hits 72 after more bodies found
The death toll reached 72 after rescuers located 26 additional bodies following the overturning of a packed ferry on Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe, on Tuesday. On Saturday, police reported that 18 children were among the fatalities, with the youngest victim being only one year old. The aging ferry was travelling to rural and fishing communities when it tipped over in strong waves.
