Zelenskyy sacks aide amid £2.5m state bank money laundering probe

Iryna Mudra lost her job on Wednesday shortly after a former cabinet minister demanded an emergency wartime election. Nabu, Ukraine's anti-corruption agency, says it uncovered a secret plot to wash £2.5m through a state bank to help free a former energy minister. Zelenskyy has not publicly explained the dismissal or answered the former minister's demands for a new national vote.
