A worker at Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight, the UK's oldest amusement park, is suing for more than £200,000, saying he suffered a stroke after braking hard on a water slide to avoid hitting a child. Kristian Wright says the 2022 incident tore an artery in his neck. The park's operator admits liability for the accident itself but denies it caused his stroke.
