Wolves appoint 46-year-old Portuguese manager

Wolves, relegated after finishing bottom of the Premier League, have named Cesar Peixoto as their new head coach. The 46-year-old Portuguese, who led Gil Vicente to sixth in Portugal, replaces Rob Edwards on a two-year deal. It's his first job outside Portugal, as Wolves play in the Championship for the first time since 2018.
