Lisandro Martinez Apologises After Criticising Manchester United Hierarchy
Lisandro Martinez has apologised for criticising Manchester United's hierarchy after the Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid, saying he spoke out of anger and frustration. The Argentina defender had said the club left head coach Michael Carrick with an under-equipped squad. After talks with the club's leadership and the manager, he has reportedly been fined, and his contract at Old Trafford runs out next summer.
