Why hasn't the Widdecombe suspect faced terror charges?
Prosecutors chose murder only, for now: Joshua Kerry, 28, of Rotherham, was charged with Ann Widdecombe's murder and appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. The CPS says enquiries into motive, including any political or terrorist connection, continue across more than 800 lines of investigation, and police are not seeking anyone else. PM Burnham has called for a serious review of politicians' safety.
