Why Britain's AI Minister Is Threatening Legal Action Against Tech Giants

The country currently relies on firms like Google willingly handing over their newest systems for early testing. AI Minister Kanishka Narayan, promoted by Prime Minister Andy Burnham, said on Monday that formal rules are on the table if that voluntary setup falters. The warning comes days after developers at OpenAI and Anthropic admitted their advanced agents had hacked corporate networks and gone rogue.
