Who is lining up against Nvidia?

AMD, with full racks: its new Helios systems and Venice CPU take on Nvidia's coming Rubin and Vera platforms by selling complete AI data-centre racks rather than chips alone. Under an existing deal, Anthropic could deploy up to two gigawatts of AMD's MI450 chips from 2027, with AMD potentially investing up to $5bn in the AI firm as milestones are met. OpenAI and Meta are also partners.
