What could let embassy safety rules go unenforced?
Diplomatic immunity could shield fire safety flaws at China's London embassy, Royal Mint Court residents told a High Court challenge two judges dismissed Friday. The roughly 100 affected households said it could enforce 'draconian' Chinese laws, target dissidents and endanger the nearby City financial district. Tower Hamlets Council said it weighed the objections carefully, and opposing MPs plan a press conference Friday afternoon.
