Wes Streeting Says UK Must Be Ready for War in 1,000 Days

Defence Secretary Wes Streeting has warned that Britain must be ready to fight and win a war within "a little over 1,000 days". Writing in the Telegraph, he said adversaries' forces and war economies could put them in a position to attack by 2030. His comments come as the government's Be Ready campaign urges households to store water, tinned food, cash and radios for emergencies.
