Reform UK will set out £40bn of first-year spending cuts in a rival Budget on Monday, according to the Telegraph. Economic spokesman Robert Jenrick plans to take £20bn from welfare, £8bn from net zero schemes and £6bn from foreign aid. Reform says the savings would raise the tax-free personal allowance to £15,000 and save the average household about £1,300 a year, ahead of Wednesday's Budget.
