Vaping linked to asthma, anxiety in UK teens, paediatricians warn
Around a fifth of British teenagers aged 11 to 17 have tried an e-cigarette, with use jumping tenfold over the last decade. A major review by the country's leading paediatricians linked the habit to severe wheezing, mouth ulcers and intense anxiety. The authors want ministers to rapidly introduce plain packaging and limit sweet flavours to stop a new generation getting hooked.
