US State Department uses AI map with mislabelled Africa
A US State Department presentation in Brazil on Sunday, at an AIDS conference, displayed an African map with every country incorrectly identified. The department described the incident as an "unfortunate error" due to a team member making swift changes to the slide deck. An artificial intelligence watermark on the image suggests AI tools were used, which OpenAI is now investigating.
