US Navy may rename carrier from Pearl Harbor hero to Trump
The US Navy is considering changing the name of an aircraft carrier, previously set to honour Black Pearl Harbor hero Doris Miller, to potentially honour Donald Trump instead. Three sources familiar with internal discussions told CNN the effort to rename the USS Doris Miller has been underway since earlier this year. Miller's great-nephew, Thomas Bledsoe, said the family had not been told about the change.
