US military hits dozens of Iranian targets during two hours of strikes
The US military's Central Command said the operation targeted command centres and missile facilities belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Officials posted on X that the action was a direct response to an unexpected assault on Tuesday. Iranian forces fired several ballistic missiles at American troops in the region, but the US says all of them were intercepted.
