US military disabled ship in Gulf of Oman enforcing Iran port blockade

The US military fired missiles into a Panamanian-flagged ship's engine room yesterday in the Gulf of Oman, disabling it. The ship was accused of attempting to bypass the US blockade of Iranian ports and disregarded commands to halt. President Trump later claimed the US has "total control" over the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran denies.
