US and Saudi Arabia strike Iran-backed militias in Iraq

Saudi Arabia and the US launched strikes against Iran-backed militias in Iraq on Wednesday, killing at least 20 members. The strikes followed Iran's attempted missile attack on US forces in the Middle East on Tuesday, which was intercepted. Air strikes hit various logistics and weapons facilities in eastern Iraq, following more than 30 drone attacks within the past 72 hours.
