US ambassador condemns 'terror' as settlers besiege West Bank homes

Israeli settlers have surrounded three homes in the West Bank village of Qusra for days, preventing residents from leaving. On Thursday, US Ambassador Mike Huckabee described the actions as a "horrific act of terror", a notably robust condemnation from the Trump administration. Israeli troops have intervened, dismantling two illegal outposts and detaining one Israeli, but settlers are still present in other areas of the village.
