UN adds 61 more firms to Israeli settlement list
On Friday, the UN human rights office incorporated 61 additional companies into its register of businesses with operations in Israeli West Bank settlements, locations deemed unlawful by the international organisation. The list now comprises 214 companies, with the majority based in Israel, alongside others originating from 10 different nations. Israel's diplomatic mission called the database a "distorted mechanism" created to "persecute" the Jewish state.
