Black and African cinema hub EbonyLife Place has officially opened near Nine Elms in London. Founder Mo Abudu, a Nigerian media mogul born in London, said the venue aims to showcase black and African storytelling. The 160-seat auditorium will run a year-round programme focused on Nollywood and films about the black experience. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan attended Thursday's launch during the London Film Festival.
