Ukraine offers Russia truce to stop Black Sea ship attacks
Ukraine has put forward a proposal for both parties to cease targeting non-military vessels in the Black Sea, with the objective of reactivating a crucial grain route. Kyiv is said to have presented the proposal via an intermediary, though Moscow has not yet replied. Ukraine's harvest season begins and shipping from its ports is almost at a standstill.
