UK police data on Microsoft cloud could be accessed by US government

Vast amounts of highly sensitive UK police data, including criminal records, are on Microsoft cloud platforms. An official security assessment from 2017 concluded that foreign actors and the US government could potentially compromise this data. Experts say these risks persist as every UK police force now uses Microsoft Azure.
