Qatar will no longer host rugby union's Nations Championship finals in 2028 and 2032, after organisers and the Gulf state agreed to cancel the deal amid uncertainty over the Middle East conflict. A linked title sponsorship with Qatar Airways, reportedly worth about £15m, has also been scrapped. France and Spain have shown interest in staging the 2028 finals, with formal bids expected early next year.
