Trump's top general privately seeks exit from Iran war

General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, has privately informed other top Trump officials that the US must devise a strategy to withdraw from the conflict. CNN, citing three sources, reported that Caine believes military options to escalate the conflict could backfire and airpower alone is unlikely to achieve President Trump's goals.
