The fresh clashes end a short pause in the fighting and have pushed global oil prices up to $89 a barrel. During a Wednesday interview on Fox News, the US president confirmed American troops successfully shot down the incoming missiles and promised Iran will get a beating. America has already teamed up with Saudi Arabia to hit Iranian-backed militia groups inside Iraq.
