Trump Says America Isn't Forced to Aid Ukraine

European officials worry about possible changes to military support for Ukraine, as the amount of future assistance could be reconsidered. Donald Trump stated America is not obliged to help Ukraine, which he noted is thousands of miles away, and suggested aid be loans. Finnish Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen highlighted Europe needs its own industrial base for faster weapons production.
