King Charles Sends Gifts to Jailed Aung San Suu Kyi

Myanmar's military has released rare photos of jailed former leader Aung San Suu Kyi receiving gifts sent by King Charles, including two gardening books and a sealed letter. The 81-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner, who once lived in Britain, is serving lengthy prison sentences under house arrest in Naypyidaw. Critics called the handover a publicity stunt by the junta to help end its international isolation.
