Trump hits drug imports with 100% tariff, UK gets deal
NHS medicine costs could rise after the UK agreed to pay more for branded drugs in exchange for lower tariffs. Trump imposed 100% levies on patented pharmaceutical imports on Thursday, but UK exports face just 10%, dropping to zero under a separate agreement. The EU, Japan and South Korea will pay 15%.
