Trump approves request to end Minnesota immigration surge
US border tsar Tom Homan announced on Thursday that the President agreed to conclude the enforcement operation. Homan stated the region is now less of a sanctuary area following increased cooperation from local officials. Although a small team will remain during the transition, he described the mission as a success. This campaign involving 2,000 officers previously sparked protests after agents killed two American citizens.
