Westminster council is cutting 520 jobs, roughly one in seven of its 3,720 posts, with most cuts falling on managers and senior roles. The council says its central government grant is shrinking by £100m, from £219m in 2025/26 to £119m. Staff were told on Tuesday, with those affected leaving between April and December 2027.
