Trump administration reverses ban, allows TikTok on US government phones

The Trump administration has reversed a 2022 ban, allowing federal employees to use TikTok on their work devices again. The original ban was implemented due to national security concerns and possible connections between ByteDance and the Chinese government. TikTok in America became majority-owned by a US company, with ByteDance retaining about a 20% share.
