Trump administration eases Russian oil rules until April.

Global buyers can now receive Russian oil already moving by sea, as shipments are permitted worldwide. The Trump administration placed a temporary hold on these oil restrictions, a short-term step confirmed by the Treasury Department. Treasury secretary Scott Bessent explained these rules cover only oil currently moving, ending on April 11.
