Tories Pitch a £10bn Britannia Shield as Britain's Own Iron Dome

Kemi Badenoch has pledged a £10 billion Britannia Shield, likened to Israel's Iron Dome, to protect the UK, overseas territories and British bases from missiles and drones. Shadow defence secretary James Cartlidge will set out the radar, interceptors and counter-drone plan in Birmingham. Party officials say about £1 billion a year over a decade comes from lifting defence spending to 3% of GDP by 2030.
