Pentagon Finally Pulls the Plug on Anthropic's Claude

The US Department of Defence says it has stopped using Anthropic's AI products, months after Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth labelled the company a national security supply-chain risk. Sources told the BBC that Claude was still being used until last week, including through Palantir's Maven system for intelligence work on Iran. Anthropic, which refused to drop safety guardrails, is suing the Trump administration over the designation.
