Thousands cross into Spain's Ceuta from Morocco, nine dead

On Thursday, Spain's north African territory of Ceuta saw thousands of people enter from Morocco by swimming and wading, and nine bodies were recovered. Spain is sending extra troops and police to the enclave after the border "totally collapsed." Italy's prime minister called for Spain to be suspended from the EU's visa-free Schengen travel zone.
