Spain slams 'selfish' reactions of some EU nations to Ceuta border crisis amid rising death toll
The number of fatalities among individuals attempting to enter the Spanish territory of Ceuta from Morocco has increased to 67. Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez criticised some EU countries for their "selfish" reaction to the mass crossings, which saw about 60,000 people enter Ceuta. He said Spain, with Morocco's help, restored border control and returned most migrants within 48 hours.
